About Terra Company

Terra Company started as an idea in 1995 when Ron Perozzi realized that very little professional landscaping was being done in and around Topsail Island, North Carolina. He purchased a building in Surf City near Bert’s Surf Shop and Terra Company became a reality. A garden center was set up with the concept that customers wanting landscaping services could actually come and see the plants that they were going to receive. Soon the business started growing and the need for more room became an issue. In 2000, Terra relocated and purchased property at 2540 NC Highway 210 near the Food Lion in Surf City. At this new location, Terra could now store more plant materials, landscape materials, and equipment.

Yards landscaped by Terra Company have been awarded “Yard of the Month” honors a total of six times in various communities.
